Press Statement
04.06.20
As we wish President HH a special birthday as a Chapter, we want to thank our Bally for the many sacrifices he has made out of his love for Zambia including being imprisoned for no reason at all but simply because of his passion to make Zambia great. We call upon our Zambian youth to walk in his footsteps and be known as one the Bally youth that liberated Zambia to prosperity.
Today as we recall Mandela’s statement at the opening of the defence case in the Rivonia trial in the Pretoria supreme Court on 20th April in 1964, it reminds us that certain individuals are singled by God to lead and emancipate their people. Fighting a leader God has chosen to lead his people like in the case of our Bally is being rebellious to God’s ordained will. “I have cherished the ideal of a democratic and free society in which all persons live together in harmony and with equal opportunities. It is an ideal which I hope to live for and to achieve. But if need be, it is an ideal for which I am prepared to die for.” said Mandela then.
We know the above words resonate and are true even with our Bally considering what he has endured at the hands of the filthy PF government. UPND SA urges the current generation of our Zambian youths to return to the question of their mission and purpose of how to fulfil it as conditions in Zambia evolve in the same way that the generation that helped Zambia attain independence had to discover and fulfil their mission. The Zambian youth of today must find his courage and passion for his country and join Bally to be counted. As Zambian youths, finding answers to liberate Zambia from the PF corrupt regime as we celebrate Bally’s birthday is perhaps the biggest present we can present our Bally.
Many Happy returns Mr President HH.
