*…as Nalumango describes the deceased as a great, loss to the party.*
UPND National Chairman, Mutale Nalumango says the loss of Copper-Belt Province Youth Chairperson, Ronald Bwalya Manenga is a tragic loss to the party who’s left behind a void that is impossible to fill.
And Ms Nalumango has described as “tragic” the loss that the UPND has suffered as a result of the untimely demise of an energetic youth that both friends and family members respected for his resolute conviction in what he believed in: tact; charm; dedication; hard work and selfless service to his country.
However, Ms Nalumango regretted that plans by the UPND leader, Hakainde Hichilema to attend the burial of his youth Ronald Manenga failed as heavily armed Paramilitary Police barricaded the entrance to the Kenneth Kaunda International Airport-KKIA-in order to prevent him from taking a flight to the Copperbelt.
And Ms Nalumango says the best way to remember the late Manenga, was to continue on his path of total dedication to the party and for a better Zambia.
Mr Manenga died in a Road Traffic Accident on the 3rd of January 2021,along Kitwe-to-Ndola dual carriageway.
UPND SG, Stephen Katuka, Mobilization Chairperson, Silvia Masebo, Elections Chairperson, Garry Nkombo and Copper Belt Province Chairperson, Elisha Matambo, National Youth Chairperson Likando Mufalali were some of the senior party officials who witnessed the sending off of late Manenga.
