The signal is clear for all to see. Even in the remotest part of Kaoma district, the people have decided to move with a party that carries a vision of development for all and that is UPND.
Today, we went deep in to Mshwala and Mwanambuyu areas to drum up support for our local government by-election candidate, Austin Muneku.
Our people said they need better agriculture, education, health and infrastructure sectors.
Currently they are facing serious challenges, among them hunger, but we assured them that we care about them. It is not only our duty to check on those stealing public resources and ensure they deliver but also that in our own little and individual efforts, we will contribute what we can as we have been doing.
Through them, we used the opportunity to call on the people of Kaoma to wake up early morning, tomorrow and vote for our candidate and that after voting they must join us in protecting their votes from criminals who are not only plundering public resources but also killing citizens in order to maintain their hold onto power which is fast dwindling.
Like we have been saying to the PF: A wound against one Zambian is a wound against all of us and no one should stand in the way of our people as they go to cast their votes tomorrow here in Kaoma.
We are not going anywhere, we will be with our people here until the people’s victory is declared and when attacked by the unruly PF thugs, kindly defend yourselves, it is your constitutional right. These were our words to our people.
If those entrusted protect you, the Police, are overpowered by the PF thugs and are scared of losing their jobs, we have no choice but apply our constitutional right to self defense.
Bana bahesu, bana Kaoma, tomorrow vote UPND as a stepping stone to 2021 and like we have been saying: whether those holding onto power likes it or not, 2021 kuyabebele.
