It’s very sad to see CBU workers going without pay in this PF induced economic hardships. What is more heart breaking is that the PF regime is busy flushing money throughout the Country bribing voters but deliberately ignoring to pay CBU staff their hard earned salaries. It’s very sad that PF is forcing people into destitution. What this PF regime must realize is that denying CBU workers their monthly salaries has multiplying effects on their families. Surely, Should all Zambians become PF cadres to earn cool cash?
We believe that PF is aware that a salary is a condition of service which all employers must honour without fail. Looking at the way the PF regime is bribing voters throughout the Country they cannot claim that they have no money to pay CBU employees. The International Labour Organization should take keen interest in how this PF Government is infringing on workers and pensioners rights.
The CBU staff conditions of service include getting a monthly salary on the agreed date of the month. PF must not take pride in sending people early to their graves. People are dying of depression because they are failing to provide for their families. People have died without enjoying the money they worked for.. Pensioners too have been victims of this ruthless PF regime.
Apart from mocking the same CBU employees with a meagre 8% increment, now the PF regime is defaulting on payments. It’s embarrassing for the Zambian people to be led by such uncaring and incompetent Government whose main pre occupation is to hold on to power. Zambians must liberate themselves by kicking out this crooked, selfish and corrupt PF regime.
